Project Underway-16

Day 16

 I didn't do much. I had a very bad headache. I went to the mail box and I had 4 cards. 2 birthday cards and 2 thinking of you cards. I got the birthday cards from my mom and my uncle Bob. The thinking of you cards were from the Thursday morning bible study and the Aper's. It was nice to get. I really have a collection of cards now. After that I slept in the chair and on the couch almost all day. Watched some tv and that's it.

Day 15

 I went to the mini-mart today to get mild. I ended up getting milk, chocolate milk, french bread pizza, and these delicious crackers. I've never had them before, heard they were good so i decided to try them. I ate the whole bag. Loved them! I started watching Sons of Anarchy. We have season one on dvd thanks to Casey. She gave it to Chris for his birthday. It's definitely and interesting show. i may end up watching the whole season before i go to bed :)

Day 14
I went to the NEX and priced dog stuff and also look for my gardening tools i have been wanting. I got a rake and gloves but couldn't find any hand gardening tools. I also picked up one of the amazing itch relief sticks for the stupid bites on my ankles. I don't know what is attacking me but total I have had 5 bites now. Two on my right leg, Three on my left, and one on my hand. They are so itchy!!! I also got some bug spray and sprayed my whole garage and all of my doors. Hopefully no more bugs get in my house. Although there was a gecko on my ceiling.

Day 13

 I want a dog! So I asked Chris if I could get one from the animal shelter here. It's called G.A.I.N. - Guam Animals In Need. He said I could go look and take pictures of any that I liked and email them to him. So I did. I got up and headed down to gain by 10am. It took me over an hour to get there. Gain is on the other side of the island and traffic was horrible. They had so many. Lots of puppies. I wanted them all! I found two puppies that I just fell in love with but Chris didn't like them. He found an adult dog and a puppy that he liked and sent me back to Gain to take more pictures of them and to find out more about the process of adopting a dog and the costs. So I went back to Gain and did just that. I got to play with both of them. I want them both but Chris said we are only getting one dog. :( We decided on the adult dog. he is a red nosed pitbull. He is very friendly. I played with him for about 10 min. Very sweet dog. But we have to wait until payday to see if we can afford him.... If we do get him we will have to name him. We have come up with a few we like, what do you guys think?

Day 12

I got up and went to lunch at the NEX with Lis and then we went to the thrift store. She has never been before. It was fun. We are going to try and make that a regular Friday deal... go to lunch then the thrift store together. I didn't do much after that. Played on line, watched some videos on youtube. I went to the post office and spent almost an hour there the line was so long...

I went to G.A.I.N. today and looked at all the doggies. I found lots of them! I found two puppies I really want. Here are all the pics of them....

Day 11

 Today was an eventful day. I went and bowled with some of the other wives from the sequoia. It was a lot of fun. I got to meet some new people as well. After I got home I worked on Thank You cards and guess what, I finished them! I took lots of pictures at the bowling ally and was going to use one of those for my photo today originally but when I put my SD card in my computer, my computer started freaking out and erased all the pictures off of my card without uploading them to my computer. I was so mad! I spent like an hour trying to find what happened to the pictures but could never find them. :( I emailed Chris all night long back and forth. I was up until at least 5am.  I slept well though!

Day 10

 The rain woke me up it was raining so hard. It poured all day. and thundered all day too. It was so loud. It shook my house. Crazy. Lots of lighting too. It had finally stopped raining at 2:30ish. I went to the movies at 3 and seen The Karate Kid. I loved it. Very cute movie. Of course the end is predictable but it's a kids movie so what can you expect. After the movie I went straight to the gym and took another Zumba class. Way fun! I really like Zumba. It kicked my butt. There was a different teacher this time. i liked her better. She interacted with us more and her energy was so contagious. I think I will be making the Wednesday 5:30 Zumba class a regular occasion. After I got home I was exhausted. I took a shower and watched a movie then went to bed. I didn't even eat dinner. But I did have a late lunch so that's probably why I wasn't hungry. I watched Nanny McPhee. It was a pretty cute movie. I was surprised because the trailers for it made it look stupid. I think I might go see Nanny McPhee returns. But I'll wait until it comes to the base theater for free.

Day 9

 It was sunny out so I hurried and got ready and headed to the beach! I ate a sandwich, the floated in the ocean, then read and laid in the sun, then floated some more. Then I looked at all the cool fish by the stairs. I tried to take pictures of them but it wasn't easy. My camera is not water proof. This picture is of the cool blue fish that kind of look like Dory. I want to go snorkeling. I want to see all the cool fish. But I think I will definitely wait for Chris. When I got home I worked on Thank you cards. Talked to my mom on skype. And watched the rest of my dance video. Then I went to bed and watched another movie on Hulu.com. I finished watching Johna: Veggie Tales and started watching The Secret of Nimh.

Day 8
I got 3 packages in mail. I got my new, pink ATG gun! So excited. I also got my birthday present from my sister. She got me a coach purse and a new belly ring. I also got my thank you cards in the mail. I also got my dance DVD. I spent all day watching it. :) Susie came over and we went over to Sue's house and hung out for a while. I made sloppy joes for dinner. I invitied everyone over but no one came.:( They were super yummy. I have plenty for left overs.  i couldn't choose what picture I wanted to use so I used all three.

Day 7

 I woke up and went to church. great message today! If you were arrested today for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you? I then came home and got ready and headed to the beach. As soon as I got in the water it started raining. Lame! So I had to come home. So I opened my door and the blinds on my window and fell asleep on the coach listening to the rain. After I woke up I felt refreshed so I went for a walk. I walked down the hill and back up. Killer.I made my self dinner and now I'm watching Hairspray. I love this movie!!! It's the sing a long edition too :)

Day 6

 I am so lazy! I did nothing all day. I layed on the coach and watched the Disney channel all day. I did manage to make myself lunch and dinner. I also talked to my cousin Shawna on Skype. I watched Haven and talked to my mom on the phone then discovered that Hulu.com has movies! I set my computer up in my room turned on a movie and fell asleep!

Day 5

I got up and got ready and headed to the thrift store. They are only open on Friday's and I didn't want to miss it again. I found some great stuff! I spent $2 and got 3 books, 2 dish rags, and a dress. :) One of the books I bought is for my sister...  bought her Dachshunds for Dummy's. I hope she likes it. I came home and finished my laundry. And watched a little tv. I invited everyone over for left over Sheppard's pie and root beer floats but no one came. At 11 I went with Susie and Lis to K-Mart and I got a dry erase board and 2 beach towels. The towels were on sale for $3.50 each. I just found all sorts of great deals. We then came back and ate left over Sheppard's Pie and practiced our hand writing. I ended the knight watching Where the Wild Things Are.

Day 4

I

I finished my book, The Host. The end made me cry like a baby. I went to the Commissary and stocked my house back up with food. I then made Sheppard's Pie for dinner. I was starving. It was so yummy! And then I cleaned the entire house. I scrubbed it top to bottom. I even scrubbed the shower. I then took a shower. And now I'm doing my laundry. Not an especially exciting day but at least I got stuff done. :)

Day 3

 I didn't do anything. I played on the computer for a little. Read a little. And watched a little TV. I was very bored today. The picture is what I made myself for dinner. It wasn't that good. I bought it because of the smiley face potatoes. It's a good thing I wasn't very hungry.

Day 2

I decided to go to the beach and read. I figured I was going to read anyway might as well get some sun doing it. So I headed to the beach. When I got there it was kind of gloomy and windy. I laid my towel out and sat down to read. I just finished my chapter and looked up to see Alice and Chelsey walking over towards me. They invited me to go hang out with them so I did. We got in the water and floated for about an hour just talking. It rained on us a few times. We left the beach about 5. On the way home Brittany called me and invited me over for dinner. So I went home and showered to get all of the salt water off and headed over to Brittany's house. We had pancakes and sausage for dinner. Then we watched a movie. We went out side and sat for about an hour watching her dog play with the frogs. Then we discover the largest spider I have ever seen living in one of the bushes by the side of her house. I tried to take a picture but it was too dark. After that we went back inside because I had the heebie jeebies. We watched the rest of The Devil Wears Prada and then put in another movie. It was almost 1 am by this time so I headed home. I immediately went to bed and fell asleep quickly, where I dreamed all night about that stupid spider.

Project Underway-1

While Chris is gone I decided to do a little project. I am going to document what I did everyday. I will take one picture and blog about each one. Here is my first installment....

Day 1 8/16/10

I didn't sleep. No matter how hard I tried I could not go to sleep so I finally gave up and started reading. I read for a while and watched a little TV and played on Facebook. I eventually got really tired so I went to bed. I still could not sleep. I layed there for about an hour before finally falling asleep around 7am. I slept until noon. I got up and showered and headed out the door. I found the store i was looking for the other store and tried to check it out. The door was locked even though the sign in the window said open. I couldn't see in so I just left. The name of the store was Beadhive. I then headed over to Ben Franklin. I put in an application to work there and spent  about an hour or so looking around. I was looking for Raelyn's name in some sort of letters that could either be hung or set on a shelf that I could mod podge paper to. I found the exact letter i was looking for they were made out of paper mache. Like the ones that Pebbles used to sell. But no big surprise they didn't have all the letters to complete her name in large or small. So I went searching again and found wooden letters, large and small. Again, no luck. They didn't have any of the letters to spell her name. I also found foam letters. They had all the letters except for "y". And they didn't have any paper I wanted to use either so I left with out buying anything. I then went to KFC and ate lunch. Yum! Then headed to K-Mart. I sort of found what I was looking for there. I bought a whit board and markers and a scrapbook magazine. I then went in search of the nail salon Tina told me about. I found one, not sure if it was the one Tina told me about but it was still a nail salon so I went it. it was small. Only two girls working there. They wore yellow scrubs. Jenn did my nails. I got white tips. She did an awesome job! I love them. I got home around 5. Still full from lunch so I didn't bother to eat dinner. I watched The gates and headed off to bed.

Where the Boat Leaves From

Chris' boat was able to dock and stay for a couple days. His boat came in on Friday at 7:00am. He was able to go on liberty at noon. It's been nice to have him home. His boat has to leave on Sunday. He will then be gone until late September early October.
